The construction of the promenade was commenced in August 2022 and completed on 28 June 2024.

The landscape works at Victoria Road near Mount Davis commenced on 21 Dec 2023 and completed on 15 Jan 2024.

The improvement works from Victoria Road to Sha Wan Drive commenced on 14 January 2026 for completion tentatively in Q3 2026.

The construction of the trail was commenced in February 2023 and completed on 30 July 2024.

Completed
The construction of the footbridge was commenced in July 2023 and completed on 30 September 2025.

Improvement works to the Waterfall Bay Park
Under Construction
The upgrading of the existing railings in the Waterfall Bay Park has been commenced on 4 September 2024 and is targeted to be completed in end 2025.

Provision of Trail between South Bay Beach and Chung Hom Kok Fresh Water Service Reservoir
Completed
The trail provision between South Bay Beach and Chung Hom Kok Fresh Water Service Reservoir commenced on 24 January 2025 by using "handmade trail" approach and completed on 30 December 2025.

Beautification Works at the Existing Open Space near Hairpin Beach
Under Construction
The ground re-surfacing and beautification works at the existing open space near the Hairpin Beach were commenced on 31 December 2025 and are targeted to be completed by Q3 2026. 3D photo spots that reflect characteristics of Stanley will be painted on the existing storage room walls and the ground surface of the open space.

Provision of Trail connecting Tai Tam Road and Lo Fu Shan Catchwater and Lo Fu Shan Catchwater Improvement Works
Under Construction
Provision of trail connecting Tai Tam Road and Lo Fu Shan Catchwater and improvement works to the existing walkway along the Lo Fu Shan Catchwater were commenced on 22 September 2025 and are targeted to be completed by Q2 2026. The trail connecting Tai Tam Road and Lo Fu Shan Catchwater will be constructed using "handmade trail" approach.

Trail Provision and Improvement Works near Tai Tam
Completed
The trail provision and improvement works between Tai Tam Tuk Reservoir Dam and Hong Kong Trail Section 7 near Tai Tam has been commenced on 31 Jan 2024 and completed on 10 October 2024.

Trail Provision and Improvement Works from Shek O Road to Shek O Beach
Under Construction
Improvement works to an existing maintenance access from Shek O Road to Cape D’Aguilar Road and provision of trail from Cape D’Aguilar Road to Shek O Beach commenced on 16 January 2026 for completion tentatively in Q4 2026. The trail from Cape D’Aguilar Road to Shek O Beach will be constructed using "handmade trail" approach.

East Coast Boardwalk
Completed
The construction of the East Coast Boardwalk has been commenced in December 2021 and completed on 29 December 2025.
